It has been about 10 days since the last test because now I use a rotating test method for various VPNs, which can reduce my work pressure. Today I will test the connection success rate and speed of StrongVPN’s IKEv2 protocol in Windows 10. I try my best to test some servers, and at the same time, I will tell you as many test conditions and data as possible, so that you can use it as an auxiliary reference.
Barry: I’ve been wanting to convey a message to my readers that the firewall will be around for the foreseeable future; with it, using any VPN or other tool in China is a dynamic process and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why I keep updating the [Daily Test] section. The purpose of the test is to tell you the real usage of the changed VPN at the moment, whether it’s available or not, and I’ll be honest about it.

Summary: Today, I tested the StrongVPN app direct connection over the wall in Windows10. Although it was a server spot-check, its connection success rate reached 100%. It’s really surprising. From the test results, the speed of SpeedTest seems to be poor, but from YouTube’s Connection Speed, its speed and user experience are still very good. Although I tested the IKEv2 protocol today, based on my previous test results, I think OpenVPN and L2TP can also be used.
StrongVPN Win10 Version: 2.6.0.0
Protocol: IKEv2
