May 10, 2022 China VPN test, today will be a massive server spot check test of ExpressVPN’s Automatic protocol option in Windows devices, the complete process of this test will be recorded via video recording software. The advantage of recording the screen is that it can be more intuitive to show the whole connection process to the reader, so that the reader can feel more intuitive, the VPN in the actual use of the process is a kind of experience. This test was conducted through SpeedTest for speed testing. If you have any questions, you can leave a message (anonymous) to communicate.

The whole testing process, first of all, the six officially recommended servers for the wall test, and then began to test the major countries and regions in North America, Asia and Europe region for sampling.

The daily speed test will help you understand three things:
1. the success rate of the VPN’s server connection in the device under test.
2. the server connection time of the VPN in the tested device.
3. the speed of the VPN after a successful connection to the server in the device under test.

Summary: Today ExpressVPN for Windows, Official recommend’s 6 servers are running well and at good speed. I sampled about 40 unofficial servers (I didn’t count them exactly), and 18 servers connected to the wall successfully. And there are several servers with good speed. These servers are very good for the evening peak of Internet congestion, at night to avoid congestion lines, is the best way to improve the speed.

Also according to my last test, IKEv2 protocol also has a good performance of connection over the wall, you can also try it. I will not test the protocol today. I’ll test it next time.
